Tooth decay occurs when the bacteria in the mouth creates acid. It can lead to infection and result on what is known as cavity. The plague forming on our teeth contains bacteria which destroy the tooth enamel and cause tooth decay. The real fact that cavity has no symptoms, the more you have to be aware on how it started and what causes it. One thing you must do is to see your dentist regularly for your dental check up. Remember, once you have tooth decay, you may experience painful toothaches. Cavity treatment may vary depending on how bad it is. In extreme cases, your dentist may remove your teeth.
