Having a cavity is one of the most dreaded news patients receive from their dentists. That means they have to undergo drilling, tooth extraction and other dental procedures just to get that cavity removed. Of course, these said dental procedures are painful, making the patient a little anxious about going to the dentist again (first impressions last and so, all the patient remembers is the drilling and not the wonderful feeling after the rotten tooth has been treated). However, there is a new treatment when it comes to dental cavity. It requires no painful procedures because this includes no drilling or what have you—it includes lasers.

Lasers have been one of the most popular treatment for most illnesses today, and it is not much of a surprise that lasers have been used to treat cavities too.
